In order for one to attain a successful and prominent brand, one needs to invest a lot of money into whatever craft they have ventured in being it formal or informal.

Future business is generated and financial value is built through branding. Brands improve distinctiveness from competitors, boosting demand and sales, assisting in the expansion of market share, and increasing shareholder value.

In the new era of the music industry, it is highly impossible for an artiste to break through the scene without any investment made. A musician needs to brand him or herself in such a way that the craft will be patronized by clients or the fans.

It is at the back of this that Sally Mann is saying that without money, one cannot brand himself to a valuable level. Nobody can brand themselves without money

, she said.
