Sim Wong Hoo Wife: Is Sim Wong Hoo Married?: Sim Wong Hoo was a Singaporean inventor and billionaire entrepreneur born in 1955.
He founded Creative Technology, a designer and manufacturer of products for personal computers and personal digital entertainment devices. The company is notable for products such as the Sound Blaster audio card and the Creative ZEN range of audio and media products.
Sim Wong Hoo is an alumnus of Bukit Panjang Government High School. After he completed, he studied electrical and electronic engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and upon graduating and mandatory National Service, he set up Creative Technology with his schoolmate, Mr. Ng Kai Wa (now a board member) in the form of a computer repair shop in Pearl’s Centre, in Chinatown

By 2000, Sim Wong Hoo, then aged 45, had become the youngest billionaire in Singapore. He was the first person to receive the Singapore Business Awards’ Businessman of the Year accolade twice.
In 2002, he was named Person of the Year by the Singapore Computer Society in recognition of his contribution to the IT industry and was considered to be one of the most famous entrepreneurs in Singapore.

Sim Wong Hoo had also gone to war with Apple co-founder Steve Jobs over their companies’ portable music players. He sued the iPod maker in 2006 for patent infringements and walked away with a US$100 million (S$134 million) settlement.
Sim Wong Hoo died on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. The Company, Creative Technology announced the devastating news on Thursday, January 5. At the time of this report, the cause of his death had not yet been made public.

Sim Wong Hoo was a happily married man, who was married to Karen Ngui. His wife was a very secretive person and hence lives her life away from the public eye therefore there’s not much information about her. However, they have two children together, a son and a daughter.
