Video Director, TG Omori Opens Up On How Burna Boy Inspired Him
Renowned Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, TG Omori a.k.a Boy Director has acknowledged the role Burna Boy played in his rise to fame.
The ace music video director and 2022 Headies Awards winner for Best Music Video Director has taken to social media to reveal how the highly rated Nigerian Afrobeat recording and performing artiste has inspired him.
According to him, Burna Boy inspires him to reach for greater heights and to continue to top himself. In a tweet, TG Omori wrote; “Burna boy is so so inspiring can’t even lie. Brother literally inspired me to standout from being an everyday Director to possessing so much star power unknowingly.”

This comes after the successful shoot and release of Asake’s ‘Joha’ which surpassed 2 million views in two days. TG Omori and Burna Boy teamed up to bring the visuals of his ‘Odogwu’ single to life. He has also worked with Olamide, Wizkid, Tekno, Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML, Falz, Timaya, Naira Marley, and many others.
MEANWHILE: Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, better known within the showbiz space as Shatta Wale has shared the official artwork of his forthcoming studio album, ‘Gift Of God’.
The album which was first announced in 2022 is set to be released this year (2022) and ahead of the release, the multiple award winning Ghanaian dancehall musician has unveiled artwork for the body of work.
You would recall that, on Monday, August 15, 2022, Shatta Wale during his performance at the 2022 Summerstage Festival held the United States disclosed that, the ‘Gift Of God’ will be available for purchase and streaming on all digital music stores from Monday, October 17, 2022.
‘Gift Of God’, which happens to be his fifth studio album comes off the heels of the successful release of his ‘Wonder Boy’ which was published on 2019 and has amassed impressive numbers on streaming platforms.
