He developed a passion for basketball at a younger age and has been consistent throughout his career rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after American basketball players.

At the time of this writing (Saturday, June 17, 2023), Snell is a professional basketball player for the Maine Celtics of the NBA G League.

He played college basketball for the New Mexico Lobos and was drafted with the 20th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls.

Since turning a professional, Snell has had a stint with a number of teams including; Chicago Bulls (2013–2016), Milwaukee Bucks (2016–2019), Detroit Pistons (2019–2020), and Atlanta Hawks (2020–2021).
