Before joining Maluti FET College FC, Thembinkosi Lorch, also known as “Nyoso,” began his career at Katlehong Young Stars, a Qwa-Qwa-based team. Additionally, Screamer Tshabalala called him following a game against Jomo Cosmos to inform him that the Pirates were considering him.

In the 2016–17 season, he made his PSL debut while on loan from the Orlando Pirates, playing for Chippa United against the Free State Stars. During the 2015–2016 season, he was also loaned to Cape Town All Stars, an NFD team.
