Tage Nathaniel Thompson who was born on October 30, 1997 is an American professional ice hockey winger who is currently playing for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Thompson was selected 26th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

Before graduating in 2014 from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, joining the US National Team Development Program, and enrolling for two seasons at the University of Connecticut, Thompson, who is originally from Glendale, Arizona, attended 11 different schools around the nation.
The Arizona native had an unique career before graduating from Pioneer High School, which involved attendance at eleven different colleges. At the University of Connecticut, Tage subsequently registered for classes.
