Recall the renowned journalist together with her team at the Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) paid the parents of the conjoined twins a visit at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge) where they started appealing to the public to help donate to save lives of the conjoined twins after the doctors of the facility gave the parents an ultimatum to pay an amount of GHC 3 Million in order to separate the twins.
Nana Aba took to her page and wrote, “These adorable twins need to be separated urgently. We are racing against time. I beg you!!! Kindly share the video and donate to the Momo & Vodafone cash numbers below……”
Later after Nana Aba tweet, a separate tweet from Media Generale journalist Johnnie Hughes revealed that the Chief of Staff at the Presidency Frema Opare has announced that the president will be taking all the bills needed for the surgery.
“BREAKING: Chief of Staff announced a while ago that President @NAkufoAddo has decided to take up cost for operation on Conjoined twins at Ridge Hospital. #Whew®”
Nana Aba yesterday took to Twitter to remind the president to fulfill his promise by providing the fund for the surgery to be done as soon as possible.
