Rayvanny – Fundi

Award winning Tanzanian recording artiste and dancer, Rayvanny comes through with a brand new melodious tune dubbed; “Fundi”.

The single is off his just released installment; “Flowers II” EP. The extended play is a nine tracked project with contributions from top artists across Africa like Marioo, Guchi, Nadia Mkami, Ray C, Zuchu and Roki.

“Flowers II” is a follow up to his debut EP, “Flower” released in 2020 and has garnered over twelve million streams on Boomplay. Before ‘Flower II’ arrived, Rayvanny had released ‘I Miss You’ and ‘Wanaweweseka’ which were both taken from the EP.

On this new project, Rayvanny offers a set of romantically inclined songs that employ both English and Swahili lyrics. He wasted no time in giving his fans and listeners what they want with his unique sonorous voice.

Rayvanny, born Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa gain prominence with the release of ‘Kwetu’ which introduced him as a solo artiste. The melodic singer is signed to WCB Wasafi Records label under Diamond Platnumz.

Furthermore, the melodic singer was mentioned by MTV Base among acts to look out for and later bagged a BET Award in 2017 for International Viewers’ Choice. His sound is very diverse and breaks all creative boundaries.
