Mookie Betts’ salary and contract

In 2017, Betts agreed to a $750k, one-year deal with the Boston Red Sox. He inked a $10.5 million, one-year contract with the Red Sox in 2018. With one year remaining on his Dodger contract, Mookie agreed to a 12-year contract extension with the team on July 22, 2020. A staggering $65 million signing bonus was included in the $390 million contract.

Mookie’s total contract value is about $420 million when you add the $27 million he was still owed from his original two-year agreement.
