Mel Bratton is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on February 2, 1965 in Miami, Florida, United States. The Broncos selected Bratton in the 7th round of 1989’s NFL Draft. In his short career, he rushed for 190 yards with 4 touchdowns on just 57 carries. He also accumulated 345 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns from 39 catches. He returned five kickoffs totaling 56 yards, an average of 11.2 yards. He scored the winning touchdown against the Steelers to win the divisional playoff round. Afterward, he stated that he was happy he got it. In the past, whenever I score the winning touchdown, it was lost. Bratton was the one to catch a 14-yard pass by John Elway at Super Bowl XXIV. After the 1990 season, he retired.
Bratton became a sports agent after his playing career. Currently, Bratton is employed by Vantage Management Group. In 2008, the NFL began an inquiry into Bratton for contacting Andre Smith, then a college football player for Alabama.
