Later, he joined Lorimar Motion Pictures where he served in various capacities including co-running the international division responsible for all media for their feature films.

At Lorimar, he was responsible for the international distribution of Michael Jackson’s ‘Moonwalker’, making it the first and only music video film to ever be released theatrically worldwide.

Lawrence also served as Executive Vice-President of Trilogy Entertainment where his responsibility included successfully negotiating an overhead and development deal for Trilogy with United Artists, a division of MGM.

Lawrence served as head of international distribution for Morgan Creek, Segal Nasso Films, and Media 8 Entertainment. In 2021, he relocated from LA back to London to concentrate on an extensive film development slate.
