Jen Shah is known as a cast member of the reality television series The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City which premiered in November 2020.
In 2021, Jen Shah made major headlines when she was criminally charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and wire fraud but she pleaded not guilty to both charges. However, in July 2022, she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

In January 2023, Jen Shah made major headlines again after she was sentenced to over 6 years in prison after she pleaded guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Jen Shah was ordered to forfeit $6.5 million after previously pleading not guilty. She must also pay restitution to victims of the nationwide telemarketing scheme that prosecutors said targeted elderly, vulnerable victims.
