Fábio Rafael Rodrigues Cardoso is a professional Portuguese footballer who plays as a defender for the Primeira Liga club, FC Porto.

Fábio started his professional career in 2012-2013 in the Segunda Liga when he joined Benfica B. He stayed there for 3 years and made a total of 55 appearances with 3 goals to his name.

However, in his 3rd season, he went away on loan at Paços Ferreira for 2 years and made a total of 43 appearances with a goal for the Primeira Liga club.

Fábio then signed for Vitória Setúbal in 2016-2017 and stayed with the Primeira Liga club for just a season making 27 appearances with just a goal. He later joined Rangers in 2017-2018 in the Scottish Premiership for a season making only 18 appearances.
