Kaskade collaborated with Canadian electronic musician deadmau5 to produce tunes on Strobelite Seduction, including the first single “Move for Me” (issued as an EP). The record was his seventh top ten hit on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, peaking at number one in the September 6, 2008 issue. It was also Kaskade’s first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
The dance tune became a crossover smash, peaking at 71 on the Canadian Hot 100 on February 14, 2009. Another collaboration with deadmau5, “I Remember,” became his first UK hit, peaking inside the top 15 on the UK Singles Chart. The music video for “I Remember” was shot in Manchester, England.
Kaskade collaborated with Canadian electronic musician deadmau5 to create tunes for Strobelite Seduction, including the lead single. The tune became his second Billboard dance chart-topper. Kaskade headlined the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida in March 2012, performing before Armin van Buuren on Sunday night.
Kaskade traveled to Indio, California in April 2012 to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival for two weekends. The American House producer was one of the headlining artists at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June 2012. Kaskade and Deadmau5 announced a cooperation project called Kx5 in 2022, marking the fourth time the producers have collaborated. The project’s debut single, “Escape,” was released on March 11. Deadmau5 announced the self-titled Kx5 album will be released on March 17, 2023, on January 27, 2023.
