After two and a quarter seasons with the Express, he and Dondon Hontiveros, the third pick in 2011 PBA draft (which was Chris Lutz), were traded to Petron Blaze Boosters in exchange for Mick Pennisi and Sunday Salvacion. The eight pick in 2011 draft (which was Allein Maliksi).
