Choreographer Amir is a South Indian dancer and choreographer who has appeared as a contestant in Season 5 of Big Boss in Tamil. He rose to fame by participating as a contestant in Big Bos Tamil 5. Amir was born on December 22, 1992, in Kotagiri village, Nilgiris district, Nadu, Tamil.

His father died when he was a child, leaving Amir’s family with many hardships. He received his early studies at Kotagiri itself. Ever since he was a child, Amir has loved to dance, performing in a small thatched house without practice.

Amir’s mother saw his interest in dancing and gave him all the support and inspiration to dance like Prabhu deva. Amir has not yet recovered from his father’s death and his mother also died, leaving him completely devastated. After her mother left, he went to his aunt’s house in Ooty.

He also continued dancing at his aunt’s house. He struggled to become a successful dancer in his life and decided to prove himself by breaking Limca’s Book of Records with 7 hours of continuous dancing.

He then danced on stage for over seven hours, beating the Rimka Book of Records. Ashraf’s family took care of Amir after he danced for seven hours in a row, broke Limca’s Book of Records, and saw Amir collapse on stage. Ashraf saw the dedication and hard work in Amir’s dance and helped open the Amir Dance Studio (ADS).

Established in 2011, Amir Dance Studio is a dance institute where children aged 10 and over take dance classes. Children trained in dance by Amir have become part of many dance reality shows and put on great dance performances in the shows.

Prabhu Deva inspired Amir to dance since he was a child. Amir had tears in his eyes when he met him. During this time, he also recalled that his mother always wanted him to become a successful dancer like Prabhu Deva. Apart from that, Amir visited Chennai for the first time and attended a TV reality show.
